A wine domaine in the Gers, and hour or so from Bordeaux. It is owned by Jean de Montal's (MBA 07J) family. They make a range of wines, both red, white and rose, and both dry and sweet, as well as Armagnac and eaux de vie.

Excellent wines. The dry white is crisp fruity and perfectly balanced and the reds are complex and full bodied and will stand comparison with the produce of any of their neighbouring wine regions including Bordeaux. I am fortunate to live 20 minutes drive away so speak from repeated experience. The domaine is beautiful, the buildings handsome and the people are charming and friendly.
