Kir-Yianni in Greece
Stellios Boutaris (MBA 94) at Kir-Yianni vineyards in Naoussa in northern Greece, on of the most ambitions new-wave wineries in Greece: http://www.kiryianni.gr/
Perhaps also for 'la petite histoire' (as they say here in France) it can be interesting to know that the Boutari family is an old wine making family in Greece. The Boutaris winery is one of the biggest in Greece. In the 90s the two brothers Yiannis Boutaris and Constantin Boutaris decide to go separate ways. Constantin Boutaris kept the wine production company (called Boutaris) and Yiannis kept the vineyards and created a new, independent winery that he called Kir-Yianni. Kir-Yianni is now run by Yiannis' son Stellios (MBA 94).
PS: If you go there, don't forget to ask Stellios for the directions to the restaurant in the next village. It's very good.
